09.02.2020 – Specialist presentations on relevant and current topics combined with news from the industry: that is the recipe for success of Fachforum Schwein. Pig farmers from the north-west German finishing region met in the Münsterlandhalle Cloppenburg to discuss trends, ideas, industry and feeding topics relating to pigs. We were also there again.
What will the pigsty of the future look like? Where does the industry currently stand in terms of digitalisation and automation? And finally: What are the viable options after the ban on anaesthetic-free piglet castration? - These were the central questions at the 9th Pig Forum, which took place on 5 February in the Münsterlandhalle Cloppenburg. The well-attended event was organised by the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture and the agricultural journal "Land & Forst".

With over 80 exhibiting companies, the adjoining trade exhibition was fully booked again this year. This provided pig farmers with a platform for intensive exchange. The lively discussions between pig farmers and our expert advisors focused on questions of optimal feeding of sows, piglets and during fattening. Suckling piglet feed particularly in demand
There was particularly high demand for deuka babito.
