04.11.2020 – Varied tasks, nice colleagues, a perspective for the future and lucrative opportunities for promotion: that's what young professionals want at the beginning of their professional career. An apprenticeship often marks the beginning of a promising career. The success of many renowned companies rests on the shoulders of trained specialists. At Deutsche Tiernahrung Cremer, too, training has a decades-long tradition and a high priority. For the coming training year 2021, we are again looking for a large number of motivated young people for various training areas.

"The beginning of the selection process is an exciting highlight for us every year," explains Werner Drudik, Head of Human Resources. "In the process, we get to talk to many motivated and committed people. That is a great experience every time. The selection process takes place well in advance (October / November) of the actual start of training (on 1 August of each training year). So if you want to get one of these apprenticeships, you should get in touch with us early with an application," says Drudik.

It has to be a good fit

"It is not easy to give a general answer as to when an applicant will fit in with us. Certificates and internships are one thing - but it also has to be a good fit on a personal level," reveals Miriam Seibt, training officer at Germany's largest private manufacturer of compound feed. "Of course, we always want applicants to be taken on later and to stay with us

We will train in these professions in 2021:

Process technologists in the milling and grain industry (or simply millers) are the backbone of feed production. In our factories, they process natural raw materials into healthy and tasty animal feed. They also take samples and check the quality of the processed raw materials.
