Compound feed is only as good as the raw materials it is made from. Raw material buyers at Deutsche Tiernahrung Cremer therefore make an important contribution to the production of the best feed for vital animals. As purchasing experts, they are responsible for the procurement of grains, molasses and rich additives. To this end, they negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers in Germany, Europe and beyond. You organise and schedule deliveries of raw materials to our locations. Even when things get hectic, they keep a cool headat all times

Your profile
- You have a degree in business administration or agricultural economics, an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk or comparable commercial training
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the sector
- You are goal- and result-oriented
- You define yourself as a flexible and communicative team player, you like to take responsibility and are assertive
- You are socially competent and communicative
- you are no stranger to the concept of initiative
- business fluent in written and spoken English (further foreign language skills would be an advantage)
- Willingness to travel after successful induction

Your tasks
- Purchasing and arbitrage of agricultural commodities for our production sites
- continuous market analysis of the relevant regional and international raw material markets
- Development of purchasing strategies with independent implementation
- independent management of commitments including risk management
- Observation and analysis of the relevant international commodity futures exchanges including strategy development
- Preparation and communication of price and market information for the sales team
