This is what an industrial clerk does:
- Control of operational processes
- Merchandise management
- Planning and controlling production management
- Preparing calculations, price lists, etc.
- Developing marketing measures

- Market analysis and development of an overall concept

What does an IT specialist in application development*:
- Develop and programme software according to customer requirements
- Testing and adapting existing applications
- Developing user interfaces suitable for the application
