Goose & Duck Feed

Rearing, fattening and maturing fodder

  • deuka goose and duck feeds (= G/E) are rearing, maturing and fattening feeds specially developed for waterfowl.
  • deuka G/E Starter ensures a nutrient supply in line with requirements in the first weeks of rearing.
  • deuka G/E feed is used as maturity or fattening feed depending on the use of the water fowl.
  • Both feeds are ideal for pasture fattening.
  • All G/E feeds do not contain a coccidiostat.

Feeding recommendation

G/E Starter

For fattening: Feed as starter feed for waterfowl in the first 2-3 weeks of life.

For maintenance/breeding of ornamental ducks or geese: Feed as starter feed for waterfowl in the first 6 weeks of life

G/E feed:

For fattening: see fattening schedule

The duration of fattening ducks depends on the sex of the animal. As a rule, it takes about one week longer for males (drakes).
For geese, the fattening period depends on the fattening system. A distinction is made between fast fattening (9 weeks), intensive fattening (16 weeks) and pasture fattening (approx. 30 weeks).

For the maintenance/breeding of ornamental ducks or geese: Feed freely from the 7th week of life.

Always provide fresh drinking water.
