Starter and maturing feed for quail and ornamental poultry

  • deuka quail and ornamental poultry feeds (= W/Z) are suitable for rearing and maturing quails, pheasants, partridges, guinea fowl, peacocks and ornamental geese and ducks.
  • The micro-granulated W/Z starter optimally covers the high protein and amino acid requirements in the rearing phase.
  • deuka W/Z feed provides your quails and ornamental poultry with all the nutrients and minerals following the chick phase until they are ready to lay or, in the case of fattening birds, until they are slaughtered.
  • Our W/Z feeds do not contain any coccidiostats.

Feeding recommendation

W/Z Starter:

Feed as starter feed for quails, pheasants, guinea fowl, partridges and peacocks in the first 5-6 weeks of life. Quails up to the 3rd week of life. If W/Z Starter is to be used for ornamental geese and ducks, it is recommended to use up to max. 2 weeks of life.

W/Z feed:

As a complete feed for quails, pheasants, partridges, guinea fowls, peacocks, ornamental ducks and geese. To be used following the respective rearing feed as maturity/maintenance feed or until laying maturity. To be used for fattening animals until slaughter.

Pheasant chicks as well as other ornamental poultry and quails feed on notched animals in the wild and therefore make very high demands on the chick feed. They are grain eaters and prefer granulated or pelleted feed. Cleanliness and feed hygiene are top priorities for these sensitive animals. The partial intolerance to some coccidiostats must be taken into account. Therefore, the deuka W/Z feeds do not contain any coccidiostats.

Always provide fresh drinking water.
