Rosé fattening feed
A high energy and protein supply for the Rosé calves is the key to successful fattening. This is the only way to achieve the desired gain of over 1 kg per day throughout the entire rearing period. With the help of our supplementary feeds, you can upgrade your basic ration to a ration that meets your needs and thus ensure the supply of your Rosé calves in all phases of fattening.

Our feed
The concept
In addition to supplementing the nutrients missing from the basic feed, it is also necessary to supplement the missing minerals, vitamins and trace elements in order to supply the animals with the required nutrients in all growth phases. These requirements are completely covered by our Rosé-Mast feed range. We will be happy to advise you.

opticon® UDP 33
The feeds contain opticon® UDP 33, which is rapeseed extraction meal refined by treatment with our patented opticon® pressure hydrothermal process. Corresponding feeds have a high proportion of rumen-stable protein (UDP), excellent palatability and improved crude fibre digestibility as well as good small intestinal digestibility of the protein and the amino acids it contains. Since rapeseed meal contains above-average amounts of methionine and since methionine is the first limiting amino acid for the cow, opticon® UDP 33 is an excellent, indispensable feed for high-performance cows.
Defined cutlet content
The feeds contain a clearly defined chipping fraction. This raw fibre fraction is subject to a moderate rate of degradation in the rumen and thus provides rumen-friendly energy. At the same time, they reduce the risk of acidosis. Especially in rations with a high content of rumen-degradable carbohydrates (when using maize silage, high-sugar grass silage and/or supplementing cereals), this slowly releasing energy source forms a sensible supplement.
Defined maize share
Since starch is degraded to propionic acid in the rumen, which lowers the pH value in the rumen, the risk of rumen acidosis increases with the starch concentration in the ration. Starch from grain maize and maize by-products, on the other hand, is partly slowly degraded in the rumen and partly only in the small intestine. This makes it an energy supplier of high quality and at the same time gentle on the rumen. Especially in rations with a high content of rumen-degradable carbohydrates (use of maize silage, high-sugar grass silage and/or supplementation of cereals), this only slowly released energy source is a useful supplement.
Defined proportion of rumen-stable starch / sugar
In addition to the need for energy and protein, ruminants also have a need for rumen-degradable starch and sugar as well as rumen-stable starch for ideal rumen function and optimal digestibility of the total ration. For this reason, supplementary feeds must also cover the needs of the various carbohydrate fractions missing from the basic ration. Our feeds with a defined proportion of rumen-available starch and sugar and rumen-stable starch close precisely this gap.
B vitamins
B vitamins perform important coenzymatic functions in the organism. The water-soluble vitamins influence the energy/carbohydrate/protein and amino acid metabolism. The supplementation of specific B vitamins is recommended in bull fattening when performance requirements are high in order to achieve optimal feed intake, feed conversion and daily gains.
