Biotin + Zink
Supplementary feed for hoof growth and intact skin
- deukavallo Biotin + Zink is a feed supplement for horses prone to hoof or skin problems
- The biotin contained promotes the formation of keratin and thus gives hooves more elasticity
- Regular feeding of the supplement ensures improved growth of the hoof horn
- The combination of biotin and zinc ensures strong hooves, intact skin and a shiny coat

Supports hoof growth
Farriers have long sworn by the positive effects: Regular feeding with high doses of biotin supports keratin formation and thus the strength of the hoof horn and its growth rate.

For intact skin and shiny coat
The feed contains biotin and zinc in a balanced ratio. The combination promotes skin and hair condition in horses. With its special organically bound form, horses can absorb and utilise the trace element zinc particularly easily.

With grain-free recipe
The grain-free basic recipe also allows feeding to horses sensitive to metabolism (e.g. horses with Cushing's disease, EMS or PSSM). Feeding without grain has also proven successful for horses with a tendency to laminitis.
Feeding recommendation
Feed 30 g daily to large horses. In case of acute hoof or skin problems, deukavallo Biotin Zinc should be used regularly for at least 6 months. (Measuring spoon = approx. 15 g)
This supplementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 2.0 % of the daily ration due to the higher content of trace elements compared to complete feeds.
