Düsseldorf - 06/03/2025 | A needs-based and individually tailored diet is essential for keeping horses healthy. With deukavallo StrukturGenuss, deukavallo is expanding its grain-free product range. At the same time, deukavallo KräuterStruktur combines the best of the tried and tested herbal muesli and structured muesli varieties in an optimised recipe. Both mueslis promote digestion and thus also the horse's immune system thanks to their high-quality, structure-rich recipe.
Individual nutritional requirements arise depending on age, metabolism and eating behaviour. The new feed varieties from deukavallo enable even more flexible customisation to these requirements. The provision of structure-rich manger feeds is intended to have a positive influence on the feeding behaviour of horses.
The best combined in one product
deukavallo KräuterStruktur is the merger of the two well-known feeds deukavallo Strukturmüsli and Kräutermüsli. The new variety combines the best of its two predecessors. The recipe is based on a harmonised herbal mixture of parsley, rosemary, coriander and peppermint. The essential oils of these herbs support the respiratory tract and strengthen the immune system - especially in the cold season.
The high proportion of alfalfa hay encourages chewing and salivation, which improves digestion. Hasty eaters benefit from the slow and even feed intake. The muesli is also rich in vitamins and minerals . The recipe contains valuable linseed and milk thistle oil as well as hydrothermally digested maize and barley flakes, making it ideal for older horses.
Grain-free structural supplement for stress-free eating
Deukavallo StrukturGenuss is a grain- and molasses-free supplement with a high proportion of structured fibre from timothy grass. It encourages chewing, prolongs the feeding time and thus significantly reduces the stress of hasty eaters when eating manger feed. The soft timothy grass is gentle on the sensitive stomach lining of sensitive horses.
Thanks to its starch and sugar-reduced formula, it is ideal for horses with metabolic disorders such as Cushing's syndrome (PPID), equine metabolic syndrome (EMS), PSSM or laminitis. deukavallo StrukturGenuss can be mixed individually into the existing manger feed ration. By dispensing with additional mineralisation or vitaminisation, it does not disrupt the existing micronutrient supply of the ration. For horses with low energy consumption, deukavallo StrukturGenuss together with a mineral feed provides a complete nutrient supply. It is therefore also ideal as a standing feed.
