Raw material and nutrient lexicon

Triticale

Triticale is a cross between Triticum sativum(wheat) and Secale cereale(rye). This breeding came onto the market over 20 years ago in various varieties and combines the yield capacity and grain quality of wheat with the winter hardiness, undemanding nature and disease resistance of rye. Today, triticale is an important feed grain and can be classified between wheat and rye in terms of nutrition.
