Wheat semolina bran

Wheat semolina bran is a by-product of the extraction of wheat flourfor human nutrition. In flour milling, the endosperm is separated from the rest of the grain. Depending on the degree of milling, it is called different 50 and 70 % and still contains about 17 to 20 % starch. The crude fibre contentis up to ten %. In addition to the crude fibre and starch content, the crude protein content(approx. 15-17 %) is also important for animal feed. Wheat semolina bran is mainly used in feed as a dietary component.
